Ember X Rosewood

This cross is one of my favorite planned breeding, with a linebreeding to amazing genetics. Ember is easily one of my favorite goats, and one I had hoped to show a lot this year as a yearling milker. Unfortunately, not everything goes as planned, and she lost the pregnancy a week before her due date due to a twisted cord. So, I chose to do the cross again, and I am excited to do it. Even with Ember not showing, she did get LA, and the score was AAGA 72, with a mark of atypical lactation due to the hard kidding. Rosewood has really started to mature, and I am happy with what I see. Not only has he greatly improved in the show ring, placing in very large classes and LA at GVV 83 as a yearling. So these kids are going to be amazing.
